Points will be allocated for each event as detailed below.

MAJORS, WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS, PGA TOUR & EUROPEAN TOUR EVENTS

There will be 3 groups of players for each tournament. 15 - 20 in the top group, with the other two roughly split equally. 2 players need to be selected from each group, making 6 picks in total. Points will be awarded as follows:-  
Winner - 600pts
Runner Up - 400pts
Top 5 - 300pts
Top 10 - 200pts
Top 25 - 100pts
Top 50 - 50pts
Made cut but outside Top 50 - 25pts
Missed cut - 0pts
Bonuses - 1st round leader - 25pts, 2nd round leader - 50pts, 3rd round leader - 75pts

SOCIETY EVENTS

  • For summer events there will be 3 groups, split equally in depending on confirmed availability for each event.

  • The groups will be determined by Summer Rankings.

  • 2 players are required to be picked from each group, making 6 in total.

  • A winning score for each competition is also required.

  • The Society winter league events will be split into groups, 2 or 3 depending on numbers playing.

  • A winning stableford score also needs to be selected.

  • For winter league purposes a player does not need to select himself.


Points will be awarded as follows:-

Winner - 600pts
Runner Up - 400pts
3rd - 300pts
4th - 200pts
5th - 100pts
6th - 75pts
7th - 50pts
8th - 25pts
Outside Top 8 = 0pts
Bonuses - Winning score = 150pts. Best outward & inward 9 holes = 75pts each.

The winner of each tournament in a quarter will receive 10pts, runner up 8pts, 3rd 6pts, 4th 4pts and 5th 2pts., like we proportion points for the Order of Merit.

A small prize will be awarded for the winner of each separate Quarterly League Group.

The overall winner will be determined as follows.

Winner of each quarterly group - 20pts
Runner Up - 16pts
3rd - 12pts
4th - 8pts
5th - 4pts

The winner will be the member with the most points from all 4 Leagues.

Entries for the first event need to be in by no later than Saturday 30th January.
