For the 2010/11 season I'll run a head-to-head Fantasy Football Prediction League. Basically I'll choose 10 of the best games from the Premier League, Football League, Scottish Premier League etc.... All members need to do is to make predictions on the correct scores. Points will be allocated, as was done for the World Cup, with 50pts for the correct score and 25pts for the correct results (but not score). On a weekly basis members will be matched against each other home and away. The winner of a match will get 3pts, a draw 1pt and loss 0pts.
Depending on how many entries we have will depend on how long this runs for. We already have 5 entered and hope to get at least 8. I've done the weekly fixtures based on 8 members taking part, but can be altered if required. The 10 weekly games to predict and the fixtures for the Prediction League will be produced well ahead of time, so if know you are away for a particular weekend you can put your entries in early. I won't publish the weekly predictions until all entries are in. Each weekends game will have a separate entry box (I've already put on the first 7 games) and the password will stay the same and be sent via e-mail. The winner will be the member who tops the League at the end. I'll also do a knock-out Cup competition later in the season for the same members.
