Prior to the Presentation Evening on Friday 17th April Ian Smith presented a Schaeffer Pen set to John Kelsall inscribed with "Presented to John Kelsall, for Outstanding Services 1993-2009", with the GWGS logo on the inside. John sadly retired from the Society, with a recurring back problem, earlier this year. He worked tirelessly alongside Ian and Bob to establish our Society. Without his efforts the Society wouldn't be as successful as it is today. He was instrumental in initiating and organising the GWGS Invitational and latterly the highly successful Bobby Moore Charity Day and Bully vs Thommo Challenge. He will be sadly missed. May I take this opportunity on behalf of all of our membership to wish him well for the future. Cheers JK!!!!
